Zambia

Zambia’s rapidly developing economy came to a pause in 2014 due to copper prices declining, reduced power production, and depreciation of Zambian currency[1]. Additional economic concerns include the extreme and widespread poverty (60%) in Zambia, in addition to the high unemployment rate, and high HIV/Aids (13%) rate[2]. One critical prayer point is that this nation is a source, transit, and destination country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and sexual exploitation[3]. The church in Zambia is strong for Christ.  Let us continue to agree in prayer for God’s will over this nation. Let’s Pray

-Jesus Christ, our prayer for your Christians in Zambia is that they would seek to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. Help them to meditate on the scriptures, and simply communicate with their heavenly Father through your blood Jesus. Help them to be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—may whatever they do prosper. We pray for your word and your truth to spread like wildfire, until every soul receives your salvation in Zambia and seeks out a personal relationship with you God.*

-Father, we pray for the provision of food, clean water, shelter, clothing, education, and clean sanitation facilities for your people in Zambia. Thank you God.

-We pray for an expansion of the economy in Zambia and we pray for new and blessed markets to provide new job opportunities and a rapidly growing GDP and an appreciation of the Zambian currency.

-Lord Jesus, we pray for each Zambian with HIV/Aids, and we pray that as they place their trust in you, that you would remove this disease from their body. Lord Jesus, infuse them with your healing power, and may they give glory back to the Father.

-God, we lift up the refugees from the DRC. We pray for these families to find community with your living, active body Jesus. We pray that they come to know you, be washed in your blood, and be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

-God, we ask for a release for the trafficked victims in  Zambia. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them.

-Jesus, we pray over the docks in Zambia, and pray that no drugs would be shipped through this nation. We also pray for an end to money laundering in Zambia, thank you Jesus!
