The focus here is praying over the use of substances that have the ability to create addictions or alter one’s mind for the negative, whether that is temporarily or long-term. Regardless of whether they are legal or illegal substances, our focus is in regards to how these substances may negatively affect an individual, to pray over these areas, and ask for God’s mercy.

-We pray over those under 30 and we pray for a blessed development for each individual globally. Father, we pray that you would help each individual to make the decision to not use or consume substances that are detrimental to their mind and body. We pray that families would train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old, they will not depart from the ways of the Lord. We plead the blood of Jesus over those under 30 and ask for your grace and favor to navigate past the enemy’s influence, and we pray that you God would break strongholds in their lives and heal their minds. Help these individuals draw into a relationship with you God where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.* 

-God, we pray for an immeasurable outpouring of your grace and mercy in regards to addictions and mind-altering substances. Father, we pray for tobacco use globally and plead your mercy over the use of it. We pray for protection over the younger generation and ask for strength and wisdom as youth choose not to use it. We pray over individuals and ask for programs, community supports, and your body filled with the Holy Spirit to break the chains of nicotine addictions.  We plead your blood over the addictions of nicotine and tobacco use and ask for you Jesus Christ to break the strongholds off individuals globally. 

-God, we pray over mind-altering beverages and pray for individuals globally to not drink into a state of intoxication. We pray for protection over those who impair their mental and physical abilities and for your grace to shine through in their ability to make sound decisions. Protect their future and help them to find separation from that which you are calling them to separate from. We plead the blood of Jesus over addictions globally and we pray that as individuals seek your face, that you Jesus would destroy addictions and heal brains from their strongholds.  

-We pray over the global use of heroin, cocaine, crack, hallucinogens, amphetamines, marijuana, inhalants, and any additional mind-altering substance, along with addictions to prescription medications. Father, we plead the blood of Jesus Christ over this global crisis and ask for your mercy to bring individuals to the cross; to lay down their weaknesses, and that you God would bring strength and deliverance in Jesus name. We pray that each individual would find freedom and healing in Jesus Christ and that they would seek to love you God with all their heart, soul, and strength.** We pray for renewed minds, bodies, and visions for walking out the plans you have for each of them. 

-Father, we pray over the production of all of these substances and we ask your Holy Spirit to speak to every individual in production of these substances. If you desire them to turn from the production of this substance, we pray you would convict their hearts and that they would obey your voice God. Thank you God for hearing our prayer, Amen.
