A highly unstable and ineffective government has resulted in civil war and instability between the Huthis and the SALIH political parties[1]. More than 80% of the population is in need of humanitarian assistance and over half are food insecure[2]. Christian persecution in Yemen is intense, with several converts being killed in 2016[3]. Additionally, this nation is a source, transit, and destination for men, women, and children subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking[4].  Let’s Pray… 

-God, we pray for this country to know you Yahweh. May this nation know you God with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.* We pray that their eyes would be open to the truth of Jesus Christ and the saving grace that you have for each soul. Let salvation break out in Yemen. Let the chains of death not bind the gospel, but instead press forth the gospel unto all ends of Yemen and the Middle East. Help every family to receive the gospel and be washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. We pray that they would repent of their sins and place their hope in you Jesus.

-Jesus, we pray for your Christians in Yemen. We pray that they would continually be infilled with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help them to powerfully impact their communities through the Holy Spirit living inside them. We pray for each Christian in Yemen to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions.**   

-God, we lift up the poor and needy in Yemen. We pray that those who are poor in the eyes of this world would be rich in faith and inherit the kingdom that you God promised to those who love you.*** We pray for the provision of food, clean water, shelter, clothing, and clean sanitation facilities for the people in Yemen. Thank you God!      

-God, we pray for the leaders of the Huthis and SALIH and ask for peace. Jesus, we pray that you would reveal yourself to every leader in Yemen and we pray that they would submit to your Lordship. Jesus, we pray that you would move through the government and you would lead the necessary reforms so that your kingdom would come, so that your will would be done in Yemen. 

-God, we ask for angelic assignments to be placed over each trafficking victim or potential victim in Yemen. Yeshua, we pray for your divine protection over each individual. God, we ask for a release for these victims in Yemen. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. Help the victims enter into healing and life breathing communities. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them.
