Vatican City

The Vatican City is the home of the Pope and the center of operations for Catholicism worldwide. The Vatican City serves as home for Pope Francis (2013-Current), a man of humility who seeks to embrace social justice. Let us continue to pray for the vision of God to unfold through the leadership of the Vatican City unto all the catholic church communities worldwide. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for the Catholic Church and the ways you administer your love and grace to your people through this church body. We lift up the individual leaders who are filled with your Holy Spirit. Jesus, help them to continue to walk in your ways of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help each leader know you God with all their heart, soul, and strength.*

-Father, we lift up Pope Francis, the bishops, priests, deacons, and leadership who serve the Catholic Church. God, let your people place you like a seal over their heart, like a seal on their arm, for your love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. Let your love burn like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame.** Let their love for you fuel the ministry that they serve in. We pray for these leaders to get so close to you that their lamp would burn ablaze in their lives and onto their parishes. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would be released and empowered throughout every congregations in the world. Holy Spirit, we desire to see your presence living and moving and breathing into every parish and believer on earth. We pray for vision for these individual leaders to follow in your footsteps, and to receive divine wisdom and revelation from you Yahweh. We pray for wisdom in discerning the tough theological issues that face the church. Help the church to teach about you Jesus through a lens of LOVE.

-God, we pray over the sin struggles plaguing the Catholic Church. Father, we pray for a full equipping of armor for each of your church leaders. For pray for each Christian to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions. We pray for those who poorly represent your name Yeshua to be removed from leadership. God, we pray for fellowship amongst the body to be vulnerable and accountable to one another. Help them to sharpen each other like iron. Help them to flee from sin and rush towards Yeshua.***

-God, we pray for the leaders that share your word to your parishes. God, give them vision of you and help them to preach your truth. Give them excitement, joy, clarity, awe, inspiration, and love throughout their preaching. Help these leaders preach to the ears of this generation of Christians. We pray for divinely anointed communities where families are doing life with other families. We continue to lift up the social justice movement within the Jesuit communities and pray that these lifestyles would be replicated throughout the entire Catholic Church.

-To the Catholic Church worldwide, we pray: The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen.
