Uzbekistan

Persecution toward the body of Christ in Uzbekistan is high. Christians in Uzbekistan are viewed as extremists by the government, and they face massive fines, detention, and arrests for illegal religious activities[1]. Pressure on Christian converts from family, friends, and local communities are likely to continue as well[2]. Finally, Uzbekistan is a transit country for illicit drugs and a source country for the human trafficking of men, women and children for the purposes of forced labor while women and children are additionally subjected to sex trafficking[3]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for this nation and pray that your grace and mercy would flow through the economy, government, religion, and education. We ask that every person and citizen of this nation would have the opportunity to receive your blood Jesus as atonement for their sins. We pray for every Muslim to discover Yeshua HaMashiach to be the son of God who died for their sins. Father, may they be the receptors of your gifts of repentance and salvation.

-We pray for the protection of your Christians and your underground churches. We pray for each Christian to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions. Let the gospel flow freely from your leaders, and may your angels pave the way for your work to affectively minister through your leaders to the nation. Holy Spirit, continue to press forward your will in Uzbekistan.  Jesus, help them to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength. Amen.*

-Father we pray for the government and new leadership to know you. Jesus, we pray that you would reveal yourself to this leadership and that they would repent of their sins and receive your blood as atonement. Yeshua, we pray that you be would be leading the officials.  Give them visions and dreams of blessing their nation and the surrounding nations. Help them execute vision to serve and support the poor in their nation. Thank you Jesus.

-Father, we pray against the transit of illicit drugs in this nation. We pray for closed borders and for conviction upon the guilty to lead towards repentance and salvation. We ask that the drugs would be destroyed. Amen.

-We pray for the victims of human trafficking crimes in this nation. Father, we pray for your angels to mark these families and individuals who are vulnerable or currently being trafficked in other nations. We ask for your angels to protect these individuals and for your Holy Spirit to convict the guilty of their crime against humanity. We pray for freedom for the victims, and ask that you Holy Spirit would bring emotional and physical healing to their bodies and minds. Jesus, we pray that each victim would come to know you God, and that every trafficker would repent of their sins and follow you Jesus. Amen.
