United Kingdom

The UK is a union of four nations including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The UK is currently navigating a new relationship with the European Union. The UK boasts the third largest economy behind Germany and France[1]. The UK serves as home to over 75,000 refugees and stateless persons[2]. Finally, the UK is a transit and destination country for women, men, and children trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation and forced labor[3]. Let’s pray…

-God, we thank you for the rich work of the Holy Spirit throughout the UK. We thank you for unity amongst these nations and pray for vision and wisdom as they continue to place their trust in you Jehovah-Jireh. We ask that the UK would keep the commandments of the Lord our God; that they would walk in your ways Jesus and that they would fear your name. We pray for your missionaries and Holy Spirit guided leaders in the UK. We pray for each Christian to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions.*

-God, we pray for the refugee and stateless persons in the UK to receive divine provision and grace from your hand Jesus. We pray for vision on how your Godly leaders may connect with and impact these communities for your name Jesus. Yeshua, help these communities to know you with all their heart, soul, and strength.** Father we pray for provision for all their needs. Thank you Jesus.

-Father, we ask for an end to human trafficking in the UK. Father, we pray for conviction of the Holy Spirit to fall upon the guilty, and ask for their hearts to respond in repentance. Father, lead them to salvation. Father, we pray for the victims and ask for freedom, healing, and restoration over those held captive. We pray that they would also know you as Lord and Savior, and that they would seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.** Amen.

-Father, we lift up the economy in the UK. Let this continue to flow in its pursuit of the Holy One, our Lord Jesus Christ. God we lift up the discussions between the UK & the EU. We pray for wisdom on these conversations and that they can move forward according to your plans God.

-God, we pray over the South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands and ask for a blessing on the various forms of life on the island. Help scientists understand how your creation points back to you Yahweh.

-Father, we lift up the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri & Dhekelia. God we pray for the military families in these areas and we ask for you Yeshua to be the center of each individual and each family on the bases. We pray for healthy community in your word and a covering of your grace. We pray for the relationship with Cyprus and ask for your peace, grace, and partnership between nations.

-God, we lift up the Pitcairn Islands to you. We pray for the church and ask that you Holy Spirit would give clear understanding to truth in your word and doctrine of the Church that represents Yeshua. We pray a blessing over the fishing and farming sectors, as well as for those who make handicrafts and postage stamps. We pray that these islands would be covered with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.*** Amen.

-God, we pray against the illegal production of drugs in the UK. Let your conviction fall upon those that produce and sell drugs. Draw them into your grace and lead them to repentance. Jesus, we pray for healing and grace to fall upon drug users. Help them to find salvation from their addictions in the name of Jesus Christ alone. Let this healing power be a great evangelical tool to draw others into the love of Christ. Amen.
