Ukraine

The greatest prayer focus for this nation is over the major conflict in Eastern Ukraine. This conflict involves the Russian sponsored separatist violence which has resulted in the injury or death of more than 13,000 civilians[1]. Additionally, this nation has over 700,000 internally displaced persons[2]. (2.24.22) On February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine as an act of war. Ukraine needs our prayers. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for the leaders you have empowered from on high. Let your Holy Spirit fill their entire being. May your Holy Spirit fall on your congregations as in the days of Pentecost. We pray that the gift of tongues would be given accordingly to your leaders.* We ask that they may display your power and also receive your words of guidance.

-Father, we lift up all government leader and pray for an infilling of humility, grace, and a heart of social justice. We pray for vision and action to take care of the poor in Ukraine. God, we pray that you would secure justice for the poor and uphold the cause of the needy in Ukraine.** Lord God, we pray for every need to be met and for you Jesus to receive all the glory.

-Father, we lift up the 700,000 internally displaced persons living in Ukraine. We pray for provision, shelter, and safety for all these individuals. Thank you Jesus for meeting them where they are at.

-We pray against the drug production and trafficking taking place in and through Ukraine. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would convict this world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness, and judgment. Lead them in a path of repentance and righteousness. Amen.***

-Father, we pray over the women, children, and men being trafficked within Ukraine and those sold to other countries. Elohim, let your all powerful nature rebuke those who purchase and sell your precious creation. Jesus, Let your word be like fire, my Lord, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces.**** Jesus, we pray for freedom for the captives. We pray for physical freedom from their captors, and for emotional and mental freedom for the past sins of others. We pray for the captives to connect with programs that help them reenter society under your direction and will Jesus. Thank you to our Lord Jesus Christ, we agree to these things in your name we pray.

-(2.24.22) Father, we lift up the nation of Ukraine and we pray protection over the civilians, the military, and the country. Father, we pray for peace with Russia. Yeshua, we pray for the hearts of the Russian leadership to be conformed to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We pray for conviction to strike the hearts of the guilty and lead hearts to repentance. Holy Spirit, we pray for your will to be done in this region. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would move forward your will. Father, we lift up the refugees and internally displaced Ukrainians and we ask for the provision of food, water, clothing, school, community, shelter, and any other needs. Father, we pray that they would rest under the shadow of the almighty. Thank you God.
