Turkmenistan
The economy in Turkmenistan has been stable due to their natural gas and oil resources. In regards to daily life, there is a high level of monitoring of every group in society, along with access to foreign media and resources being highly restricted[1]. Unregistered religious activity and worship in homes are forbidden, and religious education is greatly restricted[2]. This nation is also a source country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation and forced labor[3]. Let’s Pray…
-God, we lift up Turkmenistan and pray for the protection of your believers and for the salvation of the non-believers. Help your children to worship your name in this nation. Father, we pray for the progression of your gospel in Turkmenistan. God, help your people be still and know that you are God. That you will be exalted among the nations, that you will be exalted in the earth. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on every Turkmen, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Let this nation know the identity of Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of all creation. Father, we pray for bibles and excellent Christian literature to flood the land and for all to repent from their sins and receive salvation through the royal blood of Jesus Christ.*
-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Turkmenistan. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for healing, restoration, and freedom over those held captive and those transported to various countries. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. We pray that the victims would have the opportunity to be reunited with their families or that you would create new communities for them centered in Christ.
-Father, we pray against the drug trafficking of Afghan narcotics, and pray for the problem to be cut off at the source. Let the source be convicted of their sins and may they turn from their ways and receive forgiveness through your blood Jesus. We pray for healing and support for those addicted to substances, and for freedom to be found in Jesus name. Let drugs have no stronghold within this nation. Amen.
