Tokelau Islands
Tokelau is composed of three coral atolls which have been under the New Zealand administration since 1925[1]. There are 3 small villages within the islands and its community relies heavily upon foreign aid from New Zealand (80% of budget annually)[2]. Additional sources of revenue come from sales of copra, postage stamps, souvenir coins, and handicrafts[3]. Let’s Pray for Christ’s presence to be strong upon each community.
-Father, we thank you for each Tokelauan in this nation, and we ask that each would know you with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind. Yeshua, we pray that this nation would keep the commandments of the Lord our God. That they would walk in your ways Yeshua and they would fear your name. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit be received by your people. Let your gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, tongues, and the interpretation of tongues fall upon your followers Jesus. Father, help them to walk out the plans you have established for them since the beginning of creation.*
-Father, we lift up the economy and pray for wisdom and favor over the creation of new markets for their economy, and new opportunities for individual’s livelihood. Thank you Lord Jesus.
