Thailand has struggled for stability in government since 2005, while separatist violence in the southern region remains a significant challenge[1]. The economy in Thailand is built around the industrial and service sector while around 2/3 of their GDP is established through exports[2]. Thailand is home to about 570,000 refugees and stateless persons[3]. The major religion in Thailand is Buddhism, alongside a smaller Muslim population. Additionally, this nation is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of force labor and sex-trafficking[4]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we lift up Thailand to you. We pray that you would send your Holy Spirit onto every household and release your gifts of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May your goodness change hearts and may your wisdom convict and free souls from the depths of sin. Jesus, help this nation know the love of Jesus Christ. Help them to know the salvation found in you alone. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Raise up your prophets and lead your missionaries to share your words of truth in this nation. Father, we pray for millions of Thai people to come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. God, help them to receive Jesus’ blood as atonement and help them to pursue you with all their heart, soul, and strength.*    

-God, we pray over the women, men, and children who are trafficked in this nation, and ask for your healing over them. We pray that you would break the chains that keep them in this work, and free them from all forms of human trafficking. Help them to draw into community where they can find restoration and renewal through you Jesus. We pray over the human traffickers and ask for your conviction to fall upon them. Bring them to repentant states, that they may turn from their evil and begin freeing the captives. Yeshua, our king of glory, let your will be done in the nation of Thailand. Amen.   

-God, we lift up every government leader to you, and we pray that they would encounter you Jesus. We pray for every leader to be covered in the blood of Jesus and to follow you Jesus. Help them to know you and trust you. Jesus, we pray that every government official would lead through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Thank you God.   

-God, we pray for peace in areas of violence. Lord Jesus, we pray that you would lead peace in Thailand. We pray for the refugees and stateless people in Thailand. We pray that you would cover these individuals in your love, and that you would lead them into positive community where they can find hope in you Jesus. We pray for the provision of food, clean water, clothing, shelter, and education for these individuals. 

-Father, we lift up the drug production and trafficking community to you in Thailand. We pray that you would convict them with your word. Let your word be like fire, my Lord, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces.** May they repent of their sinful ways and lead them towards you plans for their lives. Amen.
