Tajikistan
The emergence of a president with limitless terms and lifelong immunity was ratified in 2016[1]. In regards to the economy, Tajikistan remains one of the lowest per capita GDPs among the 15 former soviet republics, with nearly one million Tajik citizens working abroad[2]. In regards to Christianity, the government must approve the production, importation, exportation, sale, and distribution of all religious materials[3]. Each year, additional legislation is passed restricting Christian freedoms[4]. Additionally, Tajikistan remains a source country for women trafficked for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation[5]. Finally, Tajikistan serves as a major transshipment point for Afghan narcotics bound for Russia and Europe[6]. Let’s Pray…
-Father, we lift up the nation of Tajikistan to you, let this nation rest in the peace and presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Let them know the comfort and grace of our Savior. Yeshua, we ask for you to break down the false ideology of Islam and break through with the anointing of your word and truth. Let salvation pour out on Tajikistan like a river flowing out of Heaven.
We pray for the protection of your Christians in this land. Just as your disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, we pray for this same infilling of the Holy Spirit upon your believers in this nation. Let your Holy Spirit be poured out from Heaven onto each household, and may your gift of tongues rest upon the souls of each believer.*
-Father, we pray over the government in Tajikistan. God we pray that you would meet these leaders where they are and help them to repent of their sins and receive you Jesus. We pray for the president to receive your salvation Jesus, and we pray that you Holy Spirit would lead him in your plans for Tajikistan. Thank you Jesus. Father, we pray for a nation that serves the body of Christ. We pray for this nation to recognize Jesus Christ as the way, the truth, and the life. God, help this nation train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not turn from it.** Train them in the word of God, and let them be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
-We lift up the poor in Tajikistan to you Jesus. We pray for the provision of food, clothing, clean water, education, shelter, and clean sanitation facilities. We pray that you God would secure justice for the poor and uphold the cause of the needy.***
-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Tajikistan. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor in this nation. We pray for healing and restoration over those held captive and those transported to various countries. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. We pray that the victims would have the opportunity to be reunited with their families or that you would create new communities for them centered in Christ.
-Father, we pray against the regions where drugs exchanges take place. Yeshua, we pray for you to cut off all transshipment points for narcotics in Tajikistan. Holy Spirit, we urge you to convict the guilty of their sins and for salvation to come to their household this day through the atoning sacrifice of Yeshua HaMashiach. Amen.
