Syria

In 2011, major uprisings took place due to major infractions on civil rights and corruption in politics. With this crisis active in 2017, the situation has evolved into the greatest humanitarian crisis worldwide with 13.5 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, 6.3 million people internally displaced, and another 4.8 million being current refugees in other countries[1]. As of 2021, over 350,000 lives have already been lost to this crisis[2]. Throughout the crisis, human trafficking has been on the increase, with men, women, and children being the victims of sex trafficking and forced labor[3]. (2.6.23) On February 6, 2023, Northwestern Syria & Southwestern Turkey were struck by a devastating earthquake. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for Syria. Lord Jesus, you have much work to press through over the land of Syria, and we agree with your agenda.  Let your will be done in Syria King Jesus. We pray for the protection of your bride in Syria. We pray for each Christian to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions.* Let your word come to your believers, and anoint their tongues to preach your words of truth bringing peace in crisis. May your leaders receive biblical and evangelical training. We also pray for favor in regards to employment and housing opportunities.

-We pray over the civil war in Syria, and the land of the Golan Heights. Let these areas be flooded with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let Shalom cover this nation, and the blood of Jesus Christ be poured out on the repentant sinners. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Yeshua HaMashiach, our king of kings, we pray that your spirit would press forward on every heart in Syria to impart your vision for this nation. Lead them to the day when they beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Let that day be this day Jesus.**

-Father, we lift up the needy, poor, displaced, and the refugees of Syria. Father, we pray for provision. Father, we pray for your grace and salvation to go with them. Father, we pray for hope and peace for these people. We pray for the families of those who have lost loved ones and we pray for you to minister to their hearts and souls Jesus. We pray for redemptive communities to rise up in the midst of crisis. Jesus, we pray that Syria would find their hope in you.

-Father, we pray for angelic protection over your men, women, and children who are at risk or being trafficked in Syria or abroad. God, we pray for freedom from the bondage of mankind. We pray for each victim to receive your free gift of grace Jesus. We pray for freedom for each victim. Additionally, we pray for mental, physical, and emotional healing for each individual. For those guilty of the trafficking of individuals, we pray that you would convict them of their sins and that they would repent of their sins, completely turning from their ways to follow you Jesus.

-(2.6.23) Father, we lift up the nation of Syria and we pray for your peace that surpasses all understanding to cover Syria. Let your Holy Spirit guide this nation during this time of sorrow. Father, we pray for the provision of shelter, food, clean water, clothing, medical supplies, mental health support, and all other needs to be met in Jesus name. Jesus, we pray that your name would be glorified in the midst of hardship and suffering. Thank you Lord Jesus.
