Switzerland

Switzerland is a peaceful, prosperous, and modern market economy with low unemployment, a highly skilled labor force, and a per capita GDP among the highest in the world[1]. Their nation is home to over 65,000 refugees and stateless persons[2]. The financial centers in Switzerland are vulnerable to money laundering and their borders are vulnerable to drug trafficking[3]. Switzerland is also a destination and transit country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor[4]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we lift up the nation of Switzerland to you. We thank you for the move of your Holy Spirit in Switzerland. We pray for the ears of the spiritually deaf and the eyes of the spiritually blind to be opened. Jesus, we pray for each of your Christians to dwell in good soil where your seeds spread over them. Father, we pray that their hearts would be noble and good. We pray that they would hear your word, retain it, and through perseverance produce a crop a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.*

-We pray for your Christian leaders to continue to be refined and filled with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.** We pray for the empowering of these individuals to be infused with transformational leadership skills that they may raise up the next generation of leaders.

-God, we pray for your leadership to protect institutions from money laundering. We also pray for the Swiss borders to be protected from the trafficking of illegal drugs. We pray for angelic protection over the borders that no drugs would come in or leave this nation. Help those responsible for trafficking drugs to repent from their ways.

-Yeshua, we pray that you would end human trafficking in Switzerland. We pray for an angelic presence over the borders of this nation guiding the incoming victims towards a safe home and safe community. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for healing, restoration, and freedom over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-God, we lift up the refugees and stateless persons in Switzerland. We pray for your love to meet these communities in unexpected ways. We pray for the Swiss to overflow your love onto them, and that these families could call Switzerland home. We pray that these families would know you Jesus and have a personal relationship with you God. We pray that you would provide for their every need, and that they would know their provision is from the Almighty. Amen.
