South Korea

Since the Korean war of 1953 that split the North from the South, South Korea has seen and explosion of economic growth. Some socioeconomic prayer points include rising inequality, poverty among the elderly, high youth unemployment, long working hours, low worker productivity, and corruption[1]. There is a demilitarized zone at about the 38th parallel which splits the North from the South[2]. Let us continue to pray for peace over North and South Korea. Finally, let’s lift up the human trafficking situation in South Korea.  Let’s Pray…

-Father, we thank you for the vision, growth, and Godly wisdom you have given the leaders of South Korea. Father, we pray for continued growth and ask for the governmental leaders to seek you out with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.* We pray over the demilitarized zone and ask for your Holy Spirit to be pouring out the gift of peace over this zone. We pray for peace between the North and the South. Thank you Lord Jesus.

-God, we lift up the education systems to you and pray for your Holy Spirit to flood each university with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  We pray that students would partner with you Jesus in their academic journey towards a successful future. We lift up every student ministry and pray for your Holy Spirit to lead every individual in a personal relationship with you where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength. We pray for transformational leadership to empower your next generation of leaders.**

-Jesus we lift up those who don’t know you in South Korea, and we pray for your kindness to lead individuals to repentance. Jesus, we pray for millions of new believers in South Korea until all know our Lord Jesus. Use this nation to impact the ends of the earth.

-Father, we lift up all followers of Christ in South Korea and ask that they recognize that their body is a temple for the Holy Spirit who is in them, who is from God.*** Help your believers to know that they were purchased at a priceless cost. Help them to glorify you God through their body and in their spirit, which are yours God.

-Father, we pray over the trafficking situation in South Korea. Jesus, we pray for your mercy over those forced into labor or sex trafficking. We pray that their bondage would come to an end. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would convict human traffickers of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness, and judgment. Help them to repent and have radical conversions, freeing victims from their captivity. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives in Korea. Jesus, we pray that you would pour out your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control upon each individual and ask that they would know you as Lord and Savior. Amen.****
