South Africa

South Africa continues to be impacted by apartheid, which was the separate development of the races, favoring the white minority at the expense of the black majority. There is a great need for reconciliation amongst all races. Unemployment, poverty, and inequality are central prayer points for South Africa. The Holy Spirit is moving amongst his bride, and we will continue to press forward the will of the Lord for South Africa.

-Father, we pray over South Africa and ask for your people, who are called by your name, to humble themselves and pray and seek your face and turn from their wicked ways, so that you will hear from Heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land. We declare that its leaders would operate according to the wisdom that is from heaven which is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. We pray for unemployment to be eradicated through first seeking Jesus’ kingdom and righteousness; that soft answers would turn away wrath; and that you Lord would build their infrastructure and watch over their cities. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen (M.M. contribute 7.4.23).*

-Lord Jesus, we pray over the generational sins of apartheid, and we pray through your blood that you would bring reconciliation to the many races in South Africa. Lord Jesus, let them find unity through our Lord Jesus Christ. God, we break down the walls that separate your church, and pray for your leaders to LEAD reconciliation through the church. We pray that your name Jesus would be glorified.

-Father, we pray over the imbalance of wealth in South Africa. Lord, we pray that you would provide food, clean water, shelter, clothing, and clean sanitation facilities for those with limited resources, and we pray for those with great resources to share them with those you desire. Let money not bind the hearts of men, but instead let them live freely by the generosity of our Lord. We also pray for an increase in employment opportunities in South Africa. Amen.

-God, we pray for the fear of the Lord to come upon the areas of criminal activity in South Africa. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would convict this world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness, and judgment.** We pray for the fear of the Lord to prevent evil activity from taking place. Help the immoral understand the purity and perfection of the Lord, and how sin leads to death. Jesus, lead the immoral towards salvation through your sacrifice on the cross.

-Jesus, we pray against the drugs being produced within South Africa and drugs being transported through Africa. Lord Jesus, let the docks be holy ground which bans the shipments of drugs, and bring an end to the production of drugs in South Africa. Thank you Jesus, we love you. Amen.
