The Solomon Islands are a group of islands located in the South Pacific Ocean. In 2003, the government on the Solomon Islands reached out to the Australian led RAMSI (Regional Assistance Mission for the Solomon Islands), which has helped lay the foundation for long-term stability, and also brought emergency assistance to the islands during the 2007 earthquake and tsunami[1].  RAMSI’s efforts to restore law and order have helped establish economic stability and growth on the islands[2]. The economy is rooted in agriculture, fishing, and forestry for some part of their livelihood, while the islands are rich in underdeveloped mineral resources[3]. Finally, the Solomon Islands are a source and destination country for women, men, and children trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and sex trafficking[4]. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we come before your presence and ask for your grace and mercy to cover the Solomon Islands. We pray that your grace would lead individuals into deep relationships with you where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind. Father, we pray for righteousness and holiness on the islands. God, we lift up your various ministries on the island, and we pray for your blessing over each entity. We pray for this same infilling from Pentecost to fall upon your believers on the islands. Let your Holy Spirit be poured out from Heaven onto each household, and may your gift of tongues rest upon the souls of each believer. Holy Spirit, pour out your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control upon the inhabitants of the islands.*

-God we thank you for the work of RAMSI, and we pray for continued stability and order throughout the islands.

-Father, we pray for the economy and ask for a blessing over the agricultural, fishing, and forestry sectors as well as helping this nation tap into its natural resources. We pray for businesses to come in and legally employ individuals in mining and acquiring natural resources including lead, zinc, nickel, and gold. 

-God, we pray for a provision of food, clean water, shelter, clothing, education, and clean sanitation facilities for all Solomon Islander. We also pray for healthy lifestyles and healthy eating for the people in this nation.   

-Yahweh, we lift up the younger generation to you and pray for this nation to train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not turn from it.** Father, raise up transformational leaders who seek after your heart like David. Help them to walk out your calling Father. 

-God, we ask for angelic assignments to be placed over each trafficking victim or potential victim on the islands. Yeshua, we pray for your divine protection over each individual. God, we ask for a release for these victims in the Solomon Islands. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your salvation Jesus. Help the victims enter into healing and life breathing communities. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them. Amen.
