Seychelles

Seychelles is a ring of islands located off the eastern coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. The Seychellois are primarily Catholic, alongside a small evangelical population. The economy on the islands are centered upon fishing and tourism[1]. Let’s pray for an infusion of the Holy Spirit to flood these islands and bring healing, restoration, and salvation…

-God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, we pray that you would have your way on the islands of Seychelles. Holy Spirit, we pray that each Christian would seek out a personal relationship with you where they would seek to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.* We continue to press forward the mission of church planters in Seychelles and ask that you God would provide resources, direction, and transformational leaders for your new churches on the islands.

-God, we pray for those who don’t know you, or for those who worship false Gods. We pray for these individuals to have an encounter with you God, that you would remove the scales from their eyes that they could see the beauty of the son Jesus Christ.

-Yeshua, we lift up the victims of human trafficking on the islands. God, we pray for angelic protection over each victim and potential victim in this nation. We pray that the fear of the Lord would rest upon these victims, and that your blood Yeshua would shatter their bondage and release freedom. For those trafficked onto the islands, we pray for reunification with any close family members. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-Father, we lift up those who are overweight on the island and pray that as they draw deeper into a relationship with you, that you would move them towards a healthier lifestyle. Help them to enjoy the full benefits of the body you have blessed them with here on earth. Amen.
