Serbia

In 2008, Kosovo declared independence from Serbia. In the years since, these two nations have worked to move towards some collaboration in what has generally been tense relations. Serbia also serves as a home for over 200,000 refugees, internally displaced persons, and stateless persons[1]. Finally, Serbia is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and girls trafficked internationally and within the country for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor[2]. Let’s Pray…

-God we come before you and we lift up Serbia, and their relationship with Kosovo and surrounding nations. We pray for harmony and peace in moving each nation’s plans forward. Father, we pray for your grace and lead in all these things. Thank you Lord Jesus, our king.

-Father, we pray for all the refugees, internally displaced persons, and stateless persons in Serbia. We pray that you God would secure justice for the poor and uphold the cause of the needy. Help your people be still and know that you are God. Lord we pray that you would protect each individual in Serbia. We pray for the body of Christ to unify around these people groups and take care of them as they would their children. We pray that these people groups would know you as Jehovah-Tsidkenu, our righteous God!*

-Yahweh, we pray that your Serbian church would act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with you. We pray for a new vision to be poured out upon those who seek intimacy with you. Let these leaders be filled with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let them walk in harmony with your other Christian leaders in Serbia. We pray for unity within the body of Christ according to your plans and your will Jesus, and we pray for movement as they take care of those with the greatest needs in Serbia.**

-Father, we lift up the economy in Serbia. We pray for a blessing over the agricultural and industrial sectors. We pray for wisdom upon government leaders as they create budget and dictate the direction of funds. Help them to take care of the refugees, internally displaced persons, and stateless people in their nation.

-We pray for angelic protection over the ports of Serbia that no illegal drugs would come through their borders. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would speak to those involved in drug production and trafficking and lead them to repent and seek forgiveness in the name of Jesus. Amen.

-God, we ask for angelic assignments to be placed over each trafficking victim or potential victim in Serbia. Yeshua, we pray for your divine protection over each individual. God, we ask for a release for these victims in Serbia. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captives would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. Help the victims enter into healing and life breathing communities. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them.
