Senegal

Senegal is located in the Northwestern region of Africa. While Senegal is a nation that supports religious freedom, Christians face increasing threats from Islamic militant groups[1]. Senegal is also a source, transit, and destination country for children and women trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and commercial sexual exploitation[2]. This nation has a desperate need to know our Savior Jesus Christ. Let’s Pray

-God, we pray for your people to be sent to Senegal, and for your evangelicals to spread your gospel throughout Senegal. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people in Senegal, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.*

-We pray for each Muslim in Senegal and for the scales to fall from their eyes as the scales fell off your servant Paul. Jesus, we pray that they would understand the bondage they are brought up in, and that they would seek freedom through your name Jesus. Let salvation be granted to those as they respond to the grace presented by the Holy Spirit. Let freedom through Jesus’ blood break out in the Muslim population, and we ask that they would become great evangelists for Jesus in Senegal, around Northern Africa, and even into the Middle East.

-God, we pray that your Christians would seek your face and know you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.** Father, let your discipline fall upon your Christians so they may share in your holiness. Let your discipline produce a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

-We pray for stability in the government and that the leaders appointed in office would choose to serve you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength Jesus.** Help them to lead as the king of glory Jesus would lead.

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Senegal. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We ask for angels to be assigned to every victim and potential victim and ask for your divine protection over them. We pray for freedom, healing, and restoration over those held captive. Yeshua, we lift up the false religious teachers and pray for the fear of the Lord to convict them of their sins, and that they would turn from false ways. Use these teachers to bring freedom to the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-God we pray for the ports of Senegal to be kept holy, and that NO drugs would be allowed to dock here. Let the Fear of the Lord come upon ships who carry cargo of the enemy and bring them to repentance. Lord Jesus, let the Fear of the Lord lead these men to dump the drugs into the sea as an act of faith in our Lord God. Remove the guilt of Senegal as a transshipment point for drugs to the west and lead them towards your glorious will Jesus. Amen.
