Saint Vincent & the Grenadines

Saint Vincent & the Grenadines includes one larger island and 16 smaller ones located in the Caribbean Sea. The economy is built upon the sectors of tourism, agriculture, and construction activity[1]. The lower and middle class on the island are susceptible to natural disasters[2]. The unemployment rate is at 19% of the population and the obesity rate is at 24%[3]. The islands are also guilty of the sins of human trafficking. St. Vincent & the Grenadines are a source, transit, and destination country for children and adults subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking[4].  Let’s press forward shouts of freedom for all. We pray for...

-An injection of the Holy Spirit to flow through your churches on every island Jesus! Rain down upon your congregations as in the day of Pentecost. Father, we pray for your church leaders and congregants to be in an intimate, powerful relationship with you where they seek to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. Let their relationship with you overflow with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Jesus, use your servants to spread the gospel of repentance and salvation throughout the islands. Yeshua, we pray that you would help your people live a repentant lifestyle towards sin. Yeshua, help your people engage in healthy community upon the islands. Father, we pray for increased protection over those susceptible to natural disasters, and we pray that these individuals would give glory to their Father in heaven. We pray for a blessing over the economy as this nation places their trust in you.*

-The unemployed on the island, and ask that they can place their trust in you for employment. God, as they turn to you, we pray that you would lead them towards employment. Holy Spirit, we also ask for the guidance of healthy lifestyles in food and exercise. Thank you Holy Spirt.

-An end to human trafficking on these islands Lord Jesus! Father, we pray that you would defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; that you would maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Father rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Jesus, we pray that you would also bring redemption to the wicked, for you already died for their sins. Help those who have been oppressed and abused to forgive their oppressors, and may they find hope and joy in you Jesus! If your appointed government leaders are not willing to attend to their God given duties, remove them and appoint those who will accomplish your plans Lord. We pray for women and men in government who are after your heart Jesus, who seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength!**

-Those involved in drug trafficking, and that you Holy Spirit would speak to their hearts about righteousness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus! Holy Spirit, crush the drug industry that runs through these islands and bring them to salvation in your son Jesus!
