Saint Lucia

The economy of Saint Lucia is centered on tourism and accounts for 65% of its GDP[1]. The unemployment rate in Saint Lucia is 20% and the obesity rate is at 27%[2]. Let us also lift up a blessing over the church in Saint Lucia, for their people to walk with the Holy Spirit leading their every move. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we thank you for the island of Saint Lucia and the work you are doing through this nation. Father, we pray for an infilling of your Holy Spirit upon the church in Saint Lucia. Father, release your lover, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control within your body on Saint Lucia.* We pray for unity amongst the churches on the island.

-God, we pray for your people to keep the commandments of the Lord our God. That they would walk in your ways Jesus and they would fear your name. Just as you Jesus are the vine, and these Christians are the branches, we pray that they would abide in you, and that you Jesus would abide in them, so they could bare much fruit for your kingdom. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not turn from your ways.**

-God, we pray for the unemployed on the island, and we pray for the provision of jobs for those in need. Help people to place their trust and hope in you God.

-We also pray for wisdom on healthy eating. Father, continue to guide individuals towards healthy lifestyles in regards to food and exercise.

-We lift up the ports in St. Lucia and ask for them to be kept clean, and that no illicit drugs would enter through their ports, in Jesus name we pray!
