Saint Helena

Saint Helena is a smaller island far off the mid-western coast of Africa (St. Helena has 2 dependencies: Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha). On St. Helena, resources are limited, jobs are few, and population is declining[1]. Let’s pray for provision and a strong movement of the Holy Spirit over Saint Helena…

-God, we thank you for your presence on these three islands, and we pray that your Christians would be rooted and grounded in you. Jesus, may they know you and seek your face in all that they do. We pray that their faith would be active and that it would lead people to move into lifestyles of sanctification. We pray for angelic protection over the poor, and that you Yahweh would be their provider and that their faith would be placed in you.

-God we pray for provision for these islanders. Let them continue to trust in you for all things Jesus. God, let your people place you like a seal over their heart, like a seal on their arm, for your love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. Let your love burn like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame in the lives of your people.*  Amen.
