Rwanda

Rwanda remains shaken by the civil war (1990) and genocide that took place claiming the lives of around 1,000,000 Rwandans (75% Tutsis)[1]. The civil war was a result of the ethnic group The Hutus making war with The Tutsis. This nation remains incredibly poor from the aftermath of the 90’s. Rwanda is currently a source country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and sexual exploitation[2]. This nation needs the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit to infuse into the lives of every individual that they may live for Jesus each moment of each day.  Jesus will restore the broken hearted. Jesus will ultimately defeat the stronghold of the enemy in this nation. Let’s press forward the will of God upon Rwanda!

-Jesus, God, Holy Spirit, we call upon our God to continue to overflow your grace upon this nation. Let them breathe in your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let each morning press them farther away from the brokenness of their recent history, and closer into the loving arms of their Savior Jesus Christ. Let them know you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. We pray for revival to break out upon Rwanda, and that your Spirit would overflow on every believer.  Fill this nation with your love Jesus!*

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Rwanda. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for angelic assignments over the women and children who are at risk or are currently being trafficked. Let the fear of the Lord fall upon those who try to mistreat your creation. We pray for healing and restoration over those held captive and those transported to various countries. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. We pray that the victims would have the opportunity to be reunited with their families and ultimately find restoration through you Yeshua HaMashiach.

-We lift up the Refugees from the DRC, and pray for your grace to surround these individuals, and that they might find community and a sense of belonging away from home. More importantly, we pray that their eternal destination would be set through the confession of Jesus Christ being the Savior of their souls. Amen.
