Puerto Rico

Let’s praise God for the work of the Holy Spirit moving and breathing life throughout Puerto Rico. The economy will be a central focus of prayer as unemployment sits at about 14% and the public debt continues to rise and currently sits at 105% of the annual GDP[1]. We pray for...

-Each of your Christians in Puerto Rico to dwell in good soil where your seeds spread over them. Father, we pray that their hearts would be noble and good. We pray that they would hear your word, retain it, and through perseverance produce a crop a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown. Let your Holy Spirit move boldly through your believers in Puerto Rico, and let them sharpen fellow brothers and sisters as iron sharpens iron.*

-Each government leader to know you and be filled with power and authority through your Holy Spirit. Father, we pray for Christ centered leaders in Puerto Rico that would serve the needs of the people through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Father, we pray for humility over these leaders to give you Holy Spirit control over their government. Lead them in reducing debt and creating more employment opportunities in Puerto Rico.

-Healing for those with brokenness in their past and present circumstances. Yeshua, we pray that you would meet the brokenhearted where they are at and that they would place their trust in you. Jesus, lead them to repentance and salvation.

-You God to secure justice for the poor and uphold the cause of the needy.** We lift up the victims of human trafficking. Jesus, we pray that you would free those held in bondage through the sins of mankind. We pray that you Yeshua would break generational sins of child exploitation within families. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives, and we pray that they would know you Yeshua as lord and savior. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.
