Philippines

The nation of The Philippines is composed of over 7000 islands and is located to the north of Indonesia in the South China Sea. With a population of over 109 million people, The Philippines are the 12th most populated nation in the world[1]. About 20% of the population lives in poverty with more than 60% living in rural areas. In the Mindanao region of the Philippines, Muslim extremists have been persecuting Christians[2]. The nation of Philippines is a source, transit, and destination country for the trafficking of men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation and forced labor[3]. Let’s Pray…

-Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you, lifting up the children of the Philippines, as well as the men, women, and families who have experienced great loss and hardships. We pray for those who suffer due to poverty, the absence of a supportive government, neglect, and abandonment. We also pray for those who are ensnared by addictions of the body and mind. For those who are wandering the streets and struggling to provide for their families. Please extend your grace to those facing mental and emotional ailments, along with approval from unfruitful sources. Guide them away from despair and toxic influences, shielding them from abuse, theft, and pain. Grant them your supernatural peace and protection during times of turmoil. For when challenges seem insurmountable and adversaries surround them. Let them find solace in your promises and lift them from their burdens. We pray for a unifying and anointed leader for the Philippines who can lead, save, and nurture the nation. Lord Jesus, may they have a personal relationship with you. Keep selfish individuals away from positions of leadership, and empower those with genuine courage to fulfill the roles you have destined for them. May the people of the Philippines never lose their resilient spirit and determination to come together in your name. May those who feel lost or alone find comfort in your presence, and may those who have the means extend a helping hand to their struggling brothers and sisters. Let your peace, love, and healing permeate the Philippine islands, bringing restoration and hope to those who are in need. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus. Amen (J.D. contribute 7.20.23).

-Father, we pray for every child in the Philippines to be led by the Spirit of God and attain the title: children of God. Let The Holy Spirit they have received break every bondage including the spirit of fear. Holy Spirit, your reception brought about their adoption to sonship. And by you Father, they cry, Abba, Father. Holy Spirit, you testify with their spirit that they are God’s children through salvation in Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord Jesus for your children, who are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. Indeed, they share with Your sufferings in order that they may also share in Your glory* (J.D. contribute 7.20.23).

-God, we thank you for The Philippine Islands. We pray for a release of your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control throughout each community on each island. We pray for your believers to share your word and seek a personal relationship with you Jesus where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength. Father, we pray over the younger generation and ask for an increased measure of grace as this nation trains young adults and children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not turn from you Jesus.  Help this generation develop a personal relationship with you Yeshua where they seek to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. We pray for an outpouring of your Holy Spirit over your leaders disbursed amongst the universities. Help them to raise up the next generation of leaders who seek to love and serve you Yahweh. We pray for the creation of new schools and for each child to have the opportunity to attend school.**

-Father, we pray for protection over your servants in Mindanao. We pray your angels would go before them and behind them and provide protection in every area of their lives. We pray protection over their churches, buildings, homes, and that your glory would continue to shine in this region. Holy Spirit, we pray for salvation to break out in this region. Thank you God.

-We pray over the government and ask for their leaders to be obedient to your spirit. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would lead through their efforts. Holy Spirit, let your agenda lead this nation into your glory. Thank you God.

-Father, we lift up the poor to you. We pray that their hope would be centered in you Jesus. We pray for the provision of food, water, clothing, shelter, education, and clean sanitation facilities. We pray for the creation of new jobs in their home island and we pray for protection over those who seek out work abroad. Jesus, we pray for your cloak of protection over these individuals, and for your angels to guard them from the hands of the enemy.

-Jesus, we pray over each trafficked victim and ask for you to meet them where they are. May their hope be found in you Yeshua, and may you Elohim be judge over their situation and act in accordance with your grace. We pray for freedom for the captives and for mental, emotional, and physical healing over their bodies and minds. We pray for everyone involved in the business of trafficking humans to be convicted by your Holy Spirit in regards to sin and righteousness, and for their hearts to repent from their sins.

-Father, we pray against the cultivation of illegal drugs in The Philippines. We pray for individuals to hear your voice and repent from their sins. We ask for an increased measure of your grace to be poured out upon those who seek to end unhealthy addictions. Father, we pray that your creation would rest under your wings and find healing in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
