From 1954-1989, Paraguay embraced a military dictatorship who enforced poor human rights and environmental practices[1]. This same political power had been in rule for 61 year up until the 2008 elections, yet stability in government is far from achieved. This nation is also a source and transit country for women and children trafficked for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation, as well as a source and transit country for men, women, and children trafficked into forced labor[2]. We pray for...

-Godly wisdom to pour out upon the leaders over Paraguay and for them to fulfill the plans you have for their lives. Holy spirit, help them to execute your plans for the nation of Paraguay.

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking systems in Paraguay. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for a divine protection over the indigenous people in the Chaco region. We pray for healing and restoration over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. 

-The Christian Protestant church and ask that they would sharpen one another, as iron sharpens iron.*  Help them to reach out to the immigrants who live in their communities. Holy Spirit, overflow in Paraguay! 

-A spiritual awakening in Paraguay where you would shatter all the false idols in the church. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would condemn all false God’s in society. Father, let praise that does not give you glory be shattered. Father, wake up your church and help them be cleansed from all practices that do not represent followers of Jesus Christ. 

-Improved drinking water and sanitation access for your rural population in Paraguay. Father, we pray that the government would help solve this issue. In Jesus name we pray! 

-An end to the production of illegal drugs in Paraguay. Lord Jesus, let you will be done in Paraguay, and let the sins of mankind be known to the guilty. Bring individuals to repentance so that they may be given new life through your name Jesus! We pray that you Holy Spirit would regulate border control and what enters Panama would not be of the enemy. Let your Holy Spirit flood Paraguay, and release your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.** In Jesus name we pray.
