Palestine is composed of the West Bank & Gaza Strip, which have been in major conflict with the nation of Israel. The West bank represents the portion of the former mandate retained in 1948 by the Arab forces that entered Palestine after the departure of the British[1]. The Gaza Strip came under Palestinian control in 2005[2]. In 2021, an outbreak of violence was exchanged between Israel and the Palestinian territory of the Gaza Strip from May 10th-21st[3]. The violence resulted in the death of about 256 Palestinians and 13 Israelis[4]. Healing is needed over this region, along with economic blessing, and an outpouring of the love of Jesus Christ. (11/11/23) On October 7th, 2023, Israel was attacked by the militant group Hamas out of the Gaza Strip, and fighting has continued since. Let’s pray…

-(11/11/23) God we lift up this entire region to you, and we pray over every person caught in this conflict. Lord Jesus, we pray for peace and safety for all. Lord Jesus, may each person submit to you as God, Savior, and King. Jesus, we pray for the protection of every civilian. We pray for the release of hostages to their homes. Lord Jesus, we pray for those who know you to dwell in the shelter of the Most High. That they will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.*

-God, we thank you for being creator over every individual in the West Bank & Gaza Strip. Jesus, we pray that you would become Lord and Savior over every individual in this region. Jesus, help them to follow you with all their heart, soul, and strength.** Jesus, let your love consume and overflow onto the people of Palestine. We pray for healing over their region and healing in their relationship with Israel.

- We specifically lift up the Palestinian community in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and throughout Israel. God, may your Word of life be proclaimed in their communities so that salvation may be received by the Palestinians. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all the Palestinians, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.*** Let the blood of the son Jesus Christ lead the Palestinians to salvation.

-Father, we pray for peace between the Palestinians and Israelis. Father, cover all the Israeli and Palestinian land with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.**** Let fighting stop and let peace prevail. Thank you Jesus.

-Father, we lift up employment opportunities and resources for the Palestinians. We pray for an overflow of new opportunities for income. We pray for the provision of food, clean water, sufficient housing, education, clothing, and any other resources they need. Jesus, let your name be glorified in all things. 

-God, we lift up the Palestinian refugees and the internally displaced persons. God, we pray for provision for all their needs including food, water, education, housing, and clothing. Jesus, in all things, let your name be glorified. Amen.
