Pakistan is located in a land originally known as the Indus Valley Civilization (centered around the Indus River) established over 5000 years ago, making it one of the oldest civilized territories in all the world[1]. In Pakistan, Christians have few educational opportunities and most live in poverty[2]. Christians are beaten, raped, abducted, and murdered[3]. Pakistan also serves as a transit point for illegal drugs[4]. Pakistan is also a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and sexual exploitation[5]. Pakistan also serves as home to around 2.4 million refugees from Afghanistan and another 464,000 internally displaced persons[6]. Finally, there is tension over Kashmir, the world’s largest and most militarized territorial dispute between Pakistan, India, and China[7].  Let’s Pray…       

-Yahweh, we lift up this ancient land built around the Indus River. Father, we pray for the Word to be spoken throughout the streets of Pakistan. We pray for all government officials to come to know the love of our Savior Jesus Christ. Let them transform the laws and the ways which restrict the freedom of your saints. Yeshua, we pray for you to take control in Pakistan. Yeshua, we pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Let the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control pour out on your creation. Thank you for the love you have for Pakistan.* 

-Jesus, we pray for millions to receive your free gift of salvation in Pakistan. Prepare hearts and minds to receive the freedom you have for the people of Pakistan. As they turn their hearts toward you God, we pray a continual blessing over education, healthcare, business, climate, energy and textiles. Thank you God!  

-Father, we pray for the protection of your saints in Pakistan. We lift up leaders like Asia Bibi and pray for freedom for the captives. Lord Jesus, we pray for freedom! Let your saints stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions.**

-Holy Spirit, we pray for you to usher in stability to society in Pakistan. We lift up the radical leaders and pray for incredible transformation and for the movement of your spirit onto your people. Let Muslims put their hope in the Lord Jesus Christ and be covered in His atoning blood. Jesus, we pray that your believers would seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.***

-Yeshua, we lift up the victims of human trafficking in Pakistan. God, we pray for angelic protection over each victim and potential victim in this nation and we specifically lift up the provinces of Punjab and Sindh. Yeshua, may these provinces be covered in your angelic presence and that holiness and righteousness would shine forth. We pray that the fear of the Lord would rest upon these victims, and that your blood Yeshua would shatter their bondage and release freedom. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. 

-God, we lift up the poor, the refugees, and the internally displaced persons in Pakistan. Yeshua, we pray that you would meet them where they are at and that they would know you. We pray for the provision of food, water, shelter, education, and clean sanitation facilities for these individuals. We pray for strong communities to serve, uplift, and support these individuals. Thank you God! 

-Father, we lift up the drug use and drug trafficking in Pakistan. Let those guilty of producing and trafficking these drugs be convicted of their sins. We pray for millions of shipments to be destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ. 

-God, we lift up the region of Kashmir and pray for your peace to fall upon this land. Fill this area with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Amen.****
