Nicaragua

The Holy Spirit has been moving in powerful ways through God’s people in Nicaragua[1]. While Nicaragua is the poorest nation in Central America[2], it remains a nation where the Holy Spirit is powerfully moving amongst the church. One important area to cover in prayer is the human trafficking situation. Nicaragua is a source and transit country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor[3]. We pray for...

-The fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to fill each Christian in Nicaragua.  We pray that your Christians would seek you with all their heart, soul, and strength, and that they would shine your light throughout Central America and to the rest of the world.*

-The government, communities, employers, churches, and families of Nicaragua. Father let each sector of society be rooted in your son Jesus. Let each area of this nation be directed and provided for by you Jesus. Lord Jesus, we pray for compassion upon your poor and needy and we pray for divine provision. We pray that you would give world leaders vision for how they may bless your Nicaraguans.

-The victims of human trafficking in Nicaragua. Jesus, we pray that you would free those held in bondage through the sins of mankind.  We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-Improved drinking water and sanitation access for your Nicaraguans. Thank you Jesus!

-Holy ports over the nation of Nicaragua. Let no drugs or weapons arrive on their docks. Bring many to repentance in the name of Jesus Christ.
