The nation of New Zealand consists of two main islands and a number of smaller islands[1]. New Zealand maintains an industrialized, free-market economy in which China remains as a significant trade partner[2]. Additionally, New Zealand is a source country for underage girls trafficked internally for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation[3]. New Zealand is also a destination country for women trafficked for the purposes of forced prostitution[4]. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we thank you for your presence on the islands here in New Zealand. Father, we pray for an outpouring of your spirit on all people in this nation, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Father, we pray that you would release your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control upon New Zealand. God we lift up those who are marked by your blood, and we pray that they would seek you out with all their heart, all their soul, all their strength, and all their mind. Father, may the gifts of the Holy Spirit be received by your people. Let your gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, tongues, and the interpretation of tongues fall upon your followers Jesus.* 

-God, we lift up the various people groups and we pray that each person from each culture would be yours. Father, help them each be washed in the blood of Christ. We pray for authentic fellowship within each community and within the entire body of Christ, and that your body would unify. Let your body do all that you have designed it for in service to the nation.

-Father, we pray specifically for the younger generation on the islands. Holy Spirit, we pray for the gospel to meet them where they are through culturally relevant methods. God, help this nation train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not turn from the teachings of your word.** God, help young people align on the path that you have designed for them.   

-Father, we lift up the economy and pray a blessing over their economy. We pray for a strengthening over partnerships between China and New Zealand. We pray for the poor in this nation and we pray for the provision of food, water, shelter, clothing, and education for everyone. Thank you Jesus.

-God, we lift up the indigenous Māori people group to you and we give you praise over cultural revival in their communities. Father, we pray for a fresh and authentic perspective of Yeshua, and that they would experience your presence here on earth Father. Help them to know you with all their heart, all their soul, all their strength, and all their mind.*** 

-Father, we lift up the island of Niue and its inhabitant to you, Elohim. God, we pray that these inhabitants would seek you with all their heart, all their soul, all their strength, and all their mind.****  We thank you for their partnership with New Zealand and ask a blessing to pour back upon New Zealand. Father, we pray for continued blessings over the economy as the people align with your will and plans on the island. We pray your blessings over the factories of fruit, lime, oil, honey, and coconut cream. We also ask that you would press forward healthy lifestyles for the Niuean inhabitants. Help this people group walk in all the plans you have for them. 

-God, we lift up the Tokelau Islands to you and we thank you for their partnership with New Zealand and how you’ve used them to sustain the economy in Tokelau. Father, we lift up the three villages to you and ask that they would keep the commandments of the Lord our God. That they would walk in your ways Jesus and they would fear your name. We pray a blessings over the government’s budget and for your help to balance this. Thank you Jesus.     

-God, we ask for angelic assignments to be placed over each trafficking victim or potential victim in New Zealand. Yeshua, we pray for your divine protection over each individual. God, we ask for a release for these victims in New Zealand. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. Help the victims enter into healing and life breathing communities. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them. Amen.
