New Caledonia
New Caledonia is currently a special collectivity of France, which had an independence referenda rejected in 2018 & 2020 by the people to maintain the status quo[1]. New Caledonia’s nickel reserves, tourism industry, and support from France are the primary components that compose this nation’s economy. Let’s Pray…
-Father, we give you praise and glory for each New Caledonian on the island. Yeshua, we pray for equality. Father, we pray for healing from the past sins of inequality, and ask for you to write a new chapter in this nation centered in Yeshua. We specifically pray for equality over the Kanaks and the immigrant populations. Father, we pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Father, we pray that you would defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; that you would maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Father rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Father, we pray that your church would be centered in the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Father, we pray for a release of your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control throughout the nation of New Caledonia.*
-God we pray for harmony and unity between the leaders in New Caledonia and the governing body in France. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would mend and guide this relationship. Father, let this partnership be all that you desire it to be.
-God, we pray over potential victims to the industry of human trafficking. May your angels go before them, and may your Holy Spirit work healing over past traumas. Father, help them to know you as savior and lead them on the plans that you have ordained for their lives. We pray for an end to human trafficking in this nation. Amen.
-Father, we pray over the disputed territories of Matthews and Hunters Island. God, we pray for peace between France and Vanuatu and that they would follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
