Netherlands is the sixth largest economy in the European Union and plays a vital role as a European transportation hub[1]. In Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands, prostitution is legal and remains direct pipeline for the trafficking of women for sexual exploitation. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we thank you for the work of your Holy Spirit in the Netherlands. Father, we lift up your prayer warriors in this nation, and pray that you would fill them with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.* Let them be united in your hearts desires that your will may be done. We pray that your will would be on the hearts of politicians, and that they would press forward your will in the Netherlands. 

-Father, we lift up the sins of sex trafficking, organized crime, drug production, and drug trafficking over Netherlands and the Special Municipalities. For those guilty of trafficking humans, producing illegal drug, and executing various crimes, we pray that you Holy Spirit would convict this nation of guilt concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment.** Let your conviction be received by those who must change their hearts. Let their hearts be moved by the Spirit towards full repentance. We pray for more conversion stories like Saul to be pressed forward and used for your kingdom. Jesus, we pray for an end to human trafficking in the Netherlands. Holy Spirit, we ask for healing and salvation to be received by the hearts of those held captive. We pray for freedom from drug addictions and safe passages for individuals to escape organized crime.   

-God, we pray for the Christian faith communities in this nation. God, we pray that they would seek to engage your heart in a relationship that knows you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.*** Let your love overflow freely through your people. May they love like you love Jesus.   

-God, we pray for the other faith communities to feel the embrace of your love Jesus. We pray that they would encounter you Jesus when they connect with another Christians. We pray that these diverse communities would live and move and breathe in similar fashion to your heavenly community. Additionally, we pray for other faith communities to come to know and revere you as Lord and Savior Jesus. 

-Father, we pray over the Special Municipalities of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, & Saba. We pray for the same infilling of the Holy Spirit that occurred on Pentecost to be upon your believers on these islands. Let your Holy Spirit be poured out from Heaven onto each household, and may your gift of tongues rest upon the souls of each believer. Let each believer’s life be centered upon a relationship with you where they can love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. Father, we pray that Christians would go and make disciples of all nations and people groups baptizing them in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That these Christians would teach the new disciples to obey everything that you Jesus have commanded us.****

-We also pray for The Papiamento Bible to be spread amongst this people group, and that Holy Spirit filled teachers would disciple new believers. Just as iron sharpens iron, let your Christians sharpen one another on these islands. Amen.*****
