Mongolia

The nation of Mongolia is composed of a vast territory sandwiched between the southeastern region of Russia and the northern border of China, which are two critical economy sustaining partners. Mongolia depends on China for more than 60% of its external trade, while also relying on China for 90% of its energy supplies[1]. Around 30% of the Mongolian population lives in poverty[2]. In regards to faith, more than half the population identify with Buddhism while about 2% identify as Christ followers[3]. Finally, Mongolia is a source, transit, and destination country for human trafficking[4].  Let’s Pray…

-Father, we lift up your Christian leaders and Holy Spirit led communities in Mongolia. Father we pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to fall on all your people. We pray for the mentoring of Mongolian’s by transformational leaders in the church. Help them to be strong women and men of God in the Word and in prayer. Utilize their skill sets and set their plans ablaze for your kingdom Jesus. God, let your people place you like a seal over their heart, like a seal on their arm, for your love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. Let your love burn like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame in all that they are.*

-Father, we thank you for the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in Mongolia. We pray that the Holy Spirit would be poured out from Heaven onto each household, and may your gift of tongues rest upon the souls of each believer. Let individuals be attracted to you Jesus through your Christians and may they be filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Father, we pray for millions of Mongolians to receive salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. Help them to turn to you Jesus, our king of kings. God, we pray that they would seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.**

-God, we lift up the economy to you. We pray for an economic blessing over the service, industrial, and agricultural sectors in Mongolia. Father, we pray for wisdom to be poured out on governmental leaders so they would know wise strategies to increase their economic output, provide more jobs, and better serve their people. God, we lift up the poor in Mongolia and pray for the provision of food, water, clothing, shelter, education, and clean sanitation facilities. We pray for those who are poor in the eyes of this world to be rich in faith and inherit the kingdom that you God promised to those who love you.*** Additionally, we pray a blessing over the relationships with Russia and China. We pray for strong partnerships for years to come between their government leaders.

-God, we lift up the human trafficking situation in Mongolia and pray over the victims. Jesus, we pray that you would set the captives free. We pray for conviction from the Holy Spirit to fall upon those who coordinate, acquire, sell, and purchase humans. Let your word be like fire, my Lord, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces.****  Pierce their hearts so they would turn from their ways and find salvation in your name Jesus. We pray for traffickers to share conversion stories like Paul where you remove the scales from their eyes and they dedicate their lives to eradicating slavery. We pray for physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing over the victims in Mongolia. Father, we pray that every individual would know you Jesus as Lord and Savior, and that they would find their strength in you.
