The Federated States of Micronesia is composed of four major island groups totaling 607 islands[1]. Present concerns include large-scale unemployment (16%), overfishing, obesity (46%), and high levels of poverty (26%)[2]. The nations Compact of Free Association assistance from the United States has played a critical role in the functioning of the government and economy[3]. The COFA assistance concludes at the end of 2023 making economic sustainability a central prayer request. This nation is also a source and destination country for women trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation, and may also serve as a destination country for men and women trafficked for the purposes of forced labor[4]. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we thank you for all the islands that compose this nation together, and we thank you for each person on each island. Father, we pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people on the islands, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Father, we pray for repentance and salvation to come to the lost on the islands. Help their ears to be ready to hear your word, and hearts ready to accept your grace Yeshua. We pray a blessing over the islands of Chuuk, and we pray that they would seek your face. We pray a blessing over the islands of Pohnpei, help them to know your son Yeshua. We pray a blessing over the islands of Yap, help them to seek you God with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind. Father, we pray a blessing over the islands of Kosrae, we pray for an infilling of your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.* 

-God, we lift up your ministries and schools on the island. We pray for the empowering of Godly women and men to train up the next generation of leaders. Fill them with your Holy Spirit so they may do your will and be a powerful witness for your kingdom Yeshua.

-God we pray that this nation would put their trust in you, and that you would open opportunities for employment and for financial blessing. Father, we pray for an economic blessing over this nation that is so big that they wouldn’t have room enough for it. We pray for the development of the trust fund to be a bridge of economic stability in 2024 and beyond. We also pray for healthy mindsets and healthy lifestyles for everyone in this nation. Thank you for blessing this nation.

-Father, we pray that you would defend the cause of the weak and fatherless in the FSM; that you would maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Father rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.** We pray for all the needs of the people in this nation to be met. We pray for the provision of food, water, clothing, shelter, and education for everyone in this nation. Thank you God.     

-Father, we lift up the victims of human trafficking crimes in The Federated States of Micronesia. God, we pray for angelic protection over each victim and potential victim in this nation. We pray that the fear of the Lord would rest upon these victims, and that your blood Yeshua would shatter their bondage and release freedom. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives, and we also pray for salvation for each captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.  

-Father, we lift up the use of illegal drugs on the islands and ask for your grace and mercy to remove these substances from the islands. We pray for those who transport, produce, or sell these substances to be convicted of their sin, and for them to repent and receive your salvation Yeshua. 

-To the Federated States Of Micronesia, we pray that the Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.*** Amen.
