Mauritius is an island located to the east of Madagascar. The economy in Mauritius is a diverse, upper-middle income economy with growing industrial, financial, and tourism sectors[1]. Mauritius does have a high population of Hindu and Islamic believers. Mauritius is also a source, transit, and destination country for women, men, and children trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and sex trafficking[2]. Young girls are raised in a culture that navigates them to enter into prostitution by peers, family members, or businessmen offering employment[3]. Let’s continue to press forward the plans of the Holy Spirit until all Mauritians have the opportunity to accept the greatest gift of salvation for all eternity and embrace pure freedom from sin. Let’s Pray…

-God we lift up the island of Mauritius, and pray for your Holy Spirit to cover your believers in your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Let them put on your armor so they might serve you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. As this nation continues to turn their face towards you Yahweh, we pray for an increase in blessing over the industrial, financial, and tourism sectors in Mauritius.* 

-God we lift up the FCCM and pray for unity through the blood of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would give them a mighty vision and that you would be their strength as they execute your vision for the island. 

-We lift up the Hindu, Islamic, and unsaved Mauritians on the island. Jesus, let your grace be generous to this population and let their hearts be ripe and ready to respond to the voice of the Holy Spirit. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all Mauritians, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. Father, help them to repent of their sins through Jesus Christ, and help them to walk in a relationship with you God.  Help them to develop a relationship with you God where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength. Amen.** 

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Mauritius. We ask for angelic assignments to be placed over each vulnerable adult and young person in this nation. Yeshua, we pray for divine protection over the path of each victim and potential victim in this nation. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for healing and restoration over those held captive and those transported to various areas. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. We pray that the victims would have the opportunity to be reunited with those who love them or we ask that you would establish a Christ centered community for them to enter into. 

-We pray for a holy cleansing of the ports of Mauritius. Let no drug shipments come in and we pray for all drug production to cease in the name of Jesus Christ. Let conviction fall upon the guilty, so repentance may take place and salvation may have way in their hearts.
