Malta

It is a blessing to see a hotspot for Christianity in Europe about two millenniums after the greatest Christian evangelist spent time in this community. The economy is built around foreign trade, manufacturing, and tourism[1]. A few prayer concerns include health and for those living in poverty. Finally, Malta is a destination country for women trafficked for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation [2]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for the shipwreck on Malta! We thank you for this nation’s roots in Christ and pray for a lifestyle rooted through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. May they treat their body as a sanctuary for the Holy Spirit. Let these people continue to hear, embrace, and execute the will of our Father Yahweh in heaven.

-May your people in Malta receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Let your gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, tongues, and the interpretation of tongues fall upon your followers Jesus.*

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking industry in the nation of Malta. We pray for an angelic presence over the borders of this island guiding the incoming victims towards a safe home and safe community. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for healing, restoration, and freedom over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-Jesus, we pray for healthy lifestyles to be encouraged by your leaders. We also pray for individuals to develop plans towards positive health alongside accountability. We lift up those living in poverty and ask for the community to continue to support these families. We pray for increased resources within the church to help meet the needs of these families. Finally, we pray for the public debt within Malta.  Jesus, we pray for wisdom and vision in leadership on how to strategically lower the public debt while continuing to serve the needs of these Maltese. Thank you Jesus for the great works you are doing in our Maltese sisters and brothers in Christ!
