Malaysia

The nation of Malaysia is primarily composed of three ethnicities, including Bumiputera, Chinese, and Indian (along with non-citizens)[1]. The official religion in Malaysia is Islam, with Buddhism, Christianity, and Hinduism all playing significant roles in society. Malaysia is a restricted nation for the gospel of Jesus Christ, where it is illegal to evangelize specifically to those of Malay ethnicity[2]. 73% of Malaysia’s GDP is built on exports of goods and services, with primary markets in electronics, oil and gas, and palm oil[3]. Malaysia is home to 120,000 refugees and stateless persons[4]. Additionally, Malaysia is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children subjected to forced labor while women and children are also subjected to sex trafficking[5]. Let’s Pray

-God, we thank you for your presence in Malaysia, and we pray that you God would continue to increase your presence in the dark places. We pray for increased victory over the dark places in Malaysia and for light to continue to shine over the darkness. We pray for every individual who has not received the blood of Jesus as atonement for their sins. Jesus, help them to know you as Lord and Savior. We pray that they would hear your truth and believe that you were pierced for our transgressions; that you Jesus were crushed for our iniquities, and the punishment that brings us peace is on you, and by your wounds we are healed. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions of you Jesus.*

-God, we pray for the protection of all Christians in Malaysia. May your Christians dwell in the secret place of the most high; let them abide in the shadow of the Almighty.** Jesus, we pray for an increase of angelic presence in Malaysia towards the protection of your saints to defeat the work of the demons in Malaysia. God, we pray for the governmental leaders and ask for their ears to hear and eyes to see your truth Jesus. God, we pray for revival to start with government officials and trickle its way down to all entities of society. We pray for millions to come to know Jesus in Malaysia. We pray for the printing of millions of bibles and Christian books in the Malay language and we ask that this act would be enabled by the government.

-Father, we lift up the economy to you and pray a blessing over the markets of palm oil, electronics, oil and gas. Father, help this economy continue to thrive and help them to place their trust in you, our Lord Jesus Christ.

-God we lift up the refugee and stateless persons in Malaysia and we ask for a covering of your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control over them.*** God, we pray for your protection over these individuals and ask for remarkable treatment and provision from the government and your followers Yeshua. Father, we pray for every need to be met through the mighty name of Jesus.

- Jehovah-Tsidkenu, we pray over the trafficking situation in Malaysia and lift up those in bondage to forced labor and sex trafficking.  Jesus, we pray for your righteousness to be poured out on these women, men, and children. We pray for freedom from their captors and for emotional, mental, and physical healing from their past. We pray that the government would step up and severely address this crisis. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would convict human traffickers of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness, and judgment.**** Lead them to repentance and use them to free the captives. Amen.

-Father, we lift drug use, drug production, and drug trafficking throughout Malaysia. We pray for healing over users as they place their trust in you Yeshua. We pray for conviction by the Holy Spirit over drug producers and drug traffickers. Enable a state of repentance and lead them to salvation. Amen.
