Kuwait

Kuwait is a small, oil-rich land located between the southeastern point of Iraq & northeastern point of Saudi Arabia. This small land holds about 6% of the world’s oil reserve[1]. In Kuwait, around 2.2 million Muslims need to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. While house churches exist and bibles can be sold legally, evangelism to Kuwaitis is illegal and those who do convert to Christianity may face harassment and arrest [2]. Finally, Kuwait is a destination country for forced labor and sex trafficking[3]. Let’s Pray…

-Jesus, our Savior and wonderful counselor, we lift your creation up to you. Yeshua, we pray for your angels to watch over your believers in Kuwait. We pray for each Christian in Kuwait to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions.*

-God we lift up the expatriate community to you. Let them find community in the body of Christ, and may they know and worship you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.** May their work be in a direct relationship with the Trinity.

-We pray over the Muslim community in Kuwait. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.*** Let the Christian community reap the harvest in Kuwait! Let the scales fall off the eyes of Islamic believers, that they may see the true identity of Jesus Christ, our King of Kings.

-We lift up wealth and the trafficking of humans. God, let the rich be humbled and the poor be lifted up. Let them both know the love of Jesus Christ in Kuwait. Father, we pray for the borders of Kuwait to be kept holy, and for human trafficking to end in Kuwait. Father, we pray for justice on behalf of the poor, the slaves, and specifically your exploited women. Yeshua HaMashiach, we pray for an end to human trafficking in Kuwait. Let your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control overflow upon your people in Kuwait, that they may know the Holy Spirit like the disciples knew the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, Amen.****
