Jamaica

Thank you Father for the amazing nation of Jamaica. Let your Holy Spirit shine through every smile in this country. Let’s Pray…

-(11/23/23) Holy Spirit we praise your Holy name and worship you. You are our creator and our Jehovah Jireh. Jesus your sacrifice on the cross has brought us freedom from sin and into relationship with The Lord Almighty. Without you God we are nothing. We need you Holy Spirt to fill us with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.*

Lord God thank you for the beautiful country of Jamaica. Thank you for its white sand beaches and blue waters. Thank you for its many sunshiny days and the produce that comes from its land. Thank you Lord for the people and their friendly nature. Thank you for their openness to love others, welcome people in, speak truth, and enjoy life. Thank you for the Jamaican culture that promotes community and authenticity.

Father God we lift up this beautiful nation whom you love so much. We pray against the spirit of debauchery which has invaded the minds and hearts of the Jamaican people in Jesus name. We pray against the spirit of revelry, lust, intoxication, and mass parties. Lord let the emptiness, selfishness, and destructive nature be brought to light. Disrupt the organizations that promote these parties. Let there be a new conviction among Jamaican’s to not engage in these activities because they are not pleasing to you God.

In Jesus name, we pray against witchcraft, Obeah, free masonry, the Lodge, and any other occult religion operating in Jamaica. We pray for you Holy Spirit to disrupt and destroy their covens, organizations, religious houses, and influence on Jamaicans. Release your spirit of truth, peace, and self-control over Jamaican people. In Jesus name we bind up these groups, communities, organizations, and spirits and send fiery darts dipped in the blood of Jesus into the enemy’s camp. May their plans be thwarted, disorganized, and stopped. May the prayers of the Christians in the land be heard by you Holy Father.

Lord Jesus we pray for revival in Jamaica. We pray for a renewed desire to worship and serve you Christ. We pray for a heart of thanksgiving and gratitude over the whole nation. We pray for you to raise up, teachers, evangelists, prayer warriors, intercessors, prophets, and many others with spiritual gifts. We pray your Jamaican people will go out and preach your word, delivering other Jamaicans from demons and healing the sick. Holy Spirit, lead the hearts of the people to our savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus you are our provider, our Jehovah Jireh. Provide for the poor in Jamaica. Let them get their basic needs met with physical items but also with their emotional needs. Let them have a heart of gratitude for all that they are blessed with whether big or small.

Holy Spirit heal the hearts of those in Jamaica who have gone through trauma. Heal Jamaican children who have been sexually molested or physically abused. Provide them with resources for protection and healing. Put kind and loving people in their lives to nurture them and show them your love. Rescue them from unsafe situations where offenders can reoffend. Lord Jesus bring those criminals to justice.

Holy Spirit bring the corruption in the government to light. Remove the corrupt and the evil doers in the government. Put people who love you and want to serve you in power. Reorganize the government and the systems in Jamaica to be effective and fruitful. Give people the desire to do the work to make the systems in the land more efficient.

Holy Spirit we give you this sweet nation and pray you bless it. Bless the people with your love. Shine down on them and send ministering angels to the land to minister to them. Send warrior angels to fight on their behalf. We pray all of this in your Unmatchable Name Jesus Christ. Amen.

Holy Spirit, we pray for your protection over this nation in regards to violence, rape, and murder. Father, let your Holy Spirit flow upon those with corrupt hearts, and release them from their sins in Jesus name! Jesus, reveal to those bound in sin and reveal that there is freedom in your name. Father, turn hearts back towards you and let the prayers of the saints in Jamaica move the Holy Spirit in mighty ways for this nation (Prayer added 11/23/23 D.C.).

-God, we ask for a release for the trafficked victims in Jamaica. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. We pray against trafficking recruitment methods and ask for divine wisdom over potential victims and we pray for intense conviction over those recruiting victims. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them.

-Yeshua, we ask that your Christians would learn to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. Lord Jesus, we pray for each Christian in Jamaica to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions.**

-We lift up the national leadership prayer breakfasts in Jamaica, and ask for your glory and plans for Jamaica to be revealed to the leaders who attend. Father, help these various leaders be united in Christ and work towards your will for Jamaica. We pray that each leader would develop a personal relationship with you and that you would use them to bring restoration to Jamaica.

-We pray for holiness to invade the ports around the island of Jamaica, & that no drugs would be shipped from these ports. We pray for an end to drug production in Jamaica and we pray these things through the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
