Iran

The Holy Spirit will move forward with the plan of salvation for the saints in Iran, despite the increase in persecution Christians face in Iran including threats, arrests, and imprisonments[1]. Other prayer concerns for Iran include the anti-Israel government, the high poverty rate, an incredibly high drug addict rate, and drug trafficking taking place through Iran’s borders[2]. Finally, Iran is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation and involuntary servitude[3]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we lift up the Iranians of this nation. We begin by praying for your angelic protection over your Christians in Iran. We pray for each Christian to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit, the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions. Help them to stay close to you where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.*

-God, we pray for the unleashing of your gospel to every Muslim house in Iran. Yeshua, let your word be received by softened hearts, and may they repent in the name of Jesus Christ. Help sinners turn from their ways and towards the righteousness found in you alone God. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.**

-Father, we lift up the governmental leaders and we pray for your Holy Spirit to defeat the influence of the enemy. May their eyes be opened to your holy covenant with Israel, and your love for Israel. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would humble the leaders as you humbled King Nebuchadnezzar, so they may receive salvation. We pray that you would speak to them individually and lead them to the son Jesus Christ, and soften their hearts to receive Jesus. Help these leaders to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit as they strategize decisions for government.

-God, we lift up the poor in Iran. We pray for an allocation of resources to serve the poor. Lord, we pray for the provision of food, water, shelter, education, clothing, and clean sanitation facilities for everyone in Iran. Let your saints continue to administer to the poor and live through the love of Christ for these families. We specifically lift up your children in Iran. Yeshua, we pray for mercy upon the homeless children in Iran. We pray for salvation over millions of children, that they would seek to know you with all their heart, soul, and strength.  God, help this nation train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will remain with their Lord Jesus Christ.

-Father, we lift up the drug production and drug trafficking in and through Iran. Holy Spirit, we pray for conviction towards the guilty to repent from their production of drugs. We pray for mercy upon those addicted to drugs. Father, we pray for full healing over their body, soul, and spirit. Thank you Jesus!

-We lift up human trafficking industry in Iran. God, we pray that the guilty would know their sins, and that you would instill the fear of the Lord upon the guilty and that they would turn from their ways. We pray over the men, women, and children who are forced into slavery and ask for freedom from their bondage along with emotional, mental, and physical healing. Yeshua, would you turn their scars into blessings, and through the renewal of your spirit, would you utilize them to tear down the kingdom of darkness! Let the chains of the enemy be broken this day! We pray these things in the name of our eternal king, Yeshua HaMashiach. Amen.
