Indonesia is the 4th most populous country in the world and the most populous country for Muslim believers[1]. In regards to the Indonesian economy, the government has promoted fiscally conservative policies and was one of three G20 countries to post economic growth during the global economic crisis of 2008[2]. Current economic issues include poverty and unemployment, inadequate infrastructure, corruption, and unequal resource distribution among its regions[3]. For Christians, it is illegal to attempt to convert a Muslim believer to faith in Christ[4]. For Muslims who do convert to Christianity, one’s familial social standing can be impacted resulting in the convert being disowned by the family[5]. Additionally, Indonesia is a source and transit country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation and forced labor[6]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for the blessing of the Holy Spirit upon the various regions of Indonesia. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people in Indonesia, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions. God, we pray for your burning flame in the churches to quickly spread throughout all of Indonesia. Let the catalyst of these flames be love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We pray for a protection and grace to lead your churches towards victorious songs and shouts of proclamation. Help church leaders continue to mentor and develop new Christians into transformational leaders.*

-Father, we pray for the Muslim believers in Indonesia and pray for truth to continue to meet them daily. For the truth that you Yeshua are the Son of God and that you alone are the road to eternal salvation. Yeshua, we pray for more encounters with you, and for regions to be transformed by your all-consuming fire. We pray for more Paul’s who would fearlessly carry your gospel into the unknown places. We ask for your angelic provision to guide your leaders on their journeys. Jesus help everyone who comes to faith in you seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.** Help them to be bold for the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  

-God, we lift up the economic needs of Indonesia to you now. We first ask for a blessing and relief for the poor. God, we pray that you would secure justice for the poor and uphold the cause of the needy.*** We ask for a national concern over the poor in Indonesia, and we pray for plans to serve the poor in Indonesia. We pray over the school systems and ask a blessing over the teachers, the curriculum, the funding, and the student’s ability to learn in their schools. We pray over the leadership in government and pray that they would encounter you Jesus. Help them to know you and walk with you Jesus. Yeshua, help them to allocate their resources fairly amongst all the regions of Indonesia. We pray for the consistent creation of new employment opportunities in Indonesia. Help them to cultivate love throughout all of Indonesia. We lift up infectious disease to you and we pray for an elimination of these diseases through the mighty blood of Jesus. We pray for miraculous healing to take place over millions of Indonesians and we pray for the glory to be given to Jesus, and for salvation to be received by each individual.

-We pray against the drug production in Indonesia and ask for your conviction to lead the guilty to repentance and salvation. We pray for emotional and physical healing over drug users as they place their trust in you Yeshua. 

-God, we pray for the province of West Papua, and we ask for you to bless the church in this nation. Jesus, help your body lead people from darkness to light in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach. Father, we pray for peace between the Muslim and Christian believers and for your angels to go before and behind your people in West Papua. Father, help the Muslims in West Papua repent from their sins and accept you Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 

-Father, we pray over the women, men, and children who are trafficked in and through Indonesia. Jesus, we pray for you to meet each individual where they are at and for your mercy to fall upon them. We pray for emotional, physical, and spiritual healing for each individual. Lord Jesus we pray for freedom for each trafficked victim. Help each individual come to receive you as Lord and Savior. For the traffickers, we pray that you Holy Spirit would convict these individuals of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness, and judgment.**** Lead them to repentance and salvation. Amen.
