Hong Kong
As a special administration region of China, Hong Kong receives a high level of self-government and the establishment of their economic system. While the GDP per capita is amongst the highest in the world, Honk Kong has 20% of their population living in poverty[1]. Hong Kong is a transit and destination country for men and women trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation and forced labor[2]. Finally, let’s pray against the rise of drug trafficking and drug usage in Hong Kong.
-God, we thank you for the economic blessing that you have given this country and we give you praise for the works of your hands. We pray for a healthy distribution of wealth in Hong Kong. We pray for the needs of the poor to be met in Honk Kong, including sufficient food, water, housing, employment, education, and resources. Thank you Lord Jesus.
-We lift up your Christian women and men in Hong Kong. God, let your people place you like a seal over their heart, like a seal on their arm, for your love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. Let your love burn like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame in their hearts. Lead your people in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help these fruits be their greatest form of witness to their neighbors. We pray for an increase in fellowship between Christian communities.*
-We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people in Hong Kong, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.** Father, we pray for every community in Hong Kong to come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and receive your blood as atonement for sin.
-Father, we pray for the younger generation in Hong Kong. We pray that you would lead them away from illegal drug use, and that you would heal any past scars. God, we pray that this younger generation would embrace revival in Hong Kong, and lead incredible works as the Holy Spirit flows through them. God we pray for young believers to recognize that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in them, who is from God. Help your believers to know they were purchased at a priceless cost. Help them to glorify you God through their body and in their spirit, which are yours God.
-We pray over the challenges of drug trafficking and money laundering in this nation. We pray for divine assistance in implementing measures to gain a stronger control over keeping drugs out and helping banks prevent money laundering.
-Yeshua, we pray that you would end human trafficking in Hong Kong. We pray for an angelic presence over the borders of this nation guiding the incoming victims towards a safe home and safe community. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for healing, restoration, and freedom over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.
