The nation of Finland maintains one of the highest per capita incomes in all of Western Europe[1]. Finland upholds a high quality education system, a national welfare system, and they press forward a movement of equality for all[2]. In regards to the global human trafficking crisis, Finland is a transit and destination country for women and girls trafficked for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation. Finland also remains a destination country for men and women trafficked for the purposes of forced labor[3]. Finland is also home to a smaller refugee population as well. Let us pray for the body of Christ to be overflowing with the Holy Spirit and the economy to continue to prosper in this nation. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for Finland and the way your Holy Spirit is moving and breathing within this nation. We lift up each Christian to you and pray that they would seek to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.* Let the cornerstone of their lives be you Jesus. May their temple be a clean dwelling place for you Holy Spirit. Use this nation to be a blessing to the nations around them. 

-God we pray a blessing over the economy in Finland. We pray a blessing over the sectors of manufacturing and technology. We pray for wisdom as this nation seeks to balance their labor costs and remain competitive with their exports. Thank you God!   

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking rings in Finland. We pray for an angelic presence over the borders of this nation guiding the incoming victims towards a safe home and safe community. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor of Finland. We pray for healing, restoration, and freedom over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-We pray for the refugees and those in need. Father, we pray for strong communities to come around these individuals and families and strengthen them. We pray for the provision of food, water, shelter, education, clothing, and clean sanitation facilities for those in need. Help them to dwell under the shadow of the almighty.    

-God, we pray for unity amongst church leaders in Finland, and ask for an overflow of your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control on each congregation.** 

-Father, we lift up the next generation of leaders in Finland. Help them to seek after you God with all their heart, soul, and strength.*  Help them to become passionately in love with the Word of God and to execute the plans you have established for their lives. Amen.
