Faroe Islands

Faroe Islands.jpg

Located north of the UK and politically connected to Denmark, these islands have been given autonomy over most political affairs while Denmark is responsible for defense, justice, and foreign affairs[1]. The economy is centered around fishing, which makes their economy vulnerable to price fluctuations[2]. Let’s pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to move in dynamic ways on the islands.

-God, we thank you for the prayer warriors and Christian leaders throughout your islands. God, we pray that your Holy Spirit would continue to pour out the richness of your love on each individual. We pray for your people to overflow with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.*

-May the gifts of the Holy Spirit be received by your people. Let your gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, distinguishing between spirits, tongues, and the interpretation of tongues fall upon your followers Jesus.**

-Father, we lift up the women on the Faroe Islands and we pray that your hand of protection would be with them where they are. We pray for you Holy Spirit to press forward communities of equality on these islands. Thank you Jesus.

-We pray a blessing over the economy and ask for continued public infrastructure growth and continual growth over the diversification of the economy. We pray specifically for growth in the industries of finance services, petroleum-related business, shipping, maritime manufacturing services, civil aviation, IT telecommunications, and tourism.

-Finally, we pray that your Christians would go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That these Christians would teach the new disciples to obey everything that Jesus has commanded.*** May they be reborn by your blood and refreshed daily by your Holy Spirit. Amen.
