These islands are located off the southern tip of South America. 2/3 of the population identify their roots in Christ[1]. The islands have been in minor dispute between Argentina and the UK, but the UK settled this in 1995[2]. As of recently, a British geological team set up a 200 mile oil exploration area in which they were very successful discovering reserves which can produce up to 500,000 barrels a day[3]. We pray for...

-Each Christian to love the Lord our God with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength, and for each Christian to enable the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them on their journey here on earth.* 

-These Christians to go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That your followers would teach the new disciples to obey everything that you Jesus have commanded.** 

-The victims of human trafficking on the islands. Jesus, we pray that you would free those held in bondage through the sins of mankind.  We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. 

-The oil drilling upon the islands and we pray for peace amongst the wealth involved in this industry and for peace between UK & Argentina. We pray that the wealth would be poured back onto the islands and we pray for protection over your creation and oceans throughout the drilling process. Thank you God.
