Eswatini

Eswatini is located within the Northeastern region of the country South Africa. In 2018, the country was renamed from Swaziland to Eswatini. Eswatini is a small, primarily rural landlocked country with a high poverty rate (63%) and an exceptionally high HIV/Aids population (29%)[1]. High unemployment (28%), rapid population growth, and an uneven distribution of resources increase the challenges of poverty and food insecurity[2]. Finally, Eswatini is a source, destination, and transit country for women and children trafficked internally and transnationally for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation, domestic servitude, and forced labor in agriculture[3]. Let’s Pray

-God we lift up Eswatini to you. Jesus, let your Christians seek to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. Father, we pray that you would help your children to trust in you and to learn your word. We pray for the provision of food, clothing, education, shelter, and water along with clean sanitation facilities for all the people of Eswatini. We pray for strengthened economic infrastructures and ask for a blessing over the land and for new economic markets.*

-Yeshua, we lift up the victims of human trafficking in Eswatini. God, we pray for angelic protection over each victim and potential victim in this nation. We pray for angelic assignments throughout trafficking routes to and within the cities of Mbabane, Manzini, and the countries of South Africa and Mozambique. Let trafficking routes be dismantled by your angels and may the fear of the Lord fall upon the guilty. We pray that your grace would rest upon the victims, and that your blood Yeshua would shatter their bondage and release freedom. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-Lord Jesus, we pray for those with diseases or HIV/AIDS to know and embrace the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, fill them up with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. For you Jesus were pierced for our transgressions, you Jesus were crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brings us peace is on you, and by your wounds, let your people be healed.**

-God we pray for a strengthening of new and growing churches in Eswatini. Help each congregation represent your bride Jesus. Help them to be faithful in all you call them to do. Move through them so people would develop intimacy with the Father and lead many others to Christ. We also pray for the Muslims in Eswatini to come to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior. Amen.
