The nation of Cyprus is divided between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus & The Republic of Cyprus. This ongoing conflict between the Greek Cypriot majority and the Turkish Cypriot minority needs peace. Since 1964, The UN has utilized a 1,000 man team to maintain a buffer zone between the North & South[1]. This nation is also a destination country for women trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation[2]. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we begin by lifting up your church. We pray for your church to be an intimate bride to the bridegroom, Jesus Christ. Fill your body with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help them to worship and love you God with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. Help your children’s hearts to be fully committed to the Lord our God.  Help them to live by your decrees and obey your commands.*

-God, we pray for a peaceful resolution between the North & the South. Yeshua, shine forth in the land and bring peace where there is division. We pray for this nation to move forward in unity. Yeshua, we pray for your truth and holiness to be revealed to those who have not been washed in your blood, that they may repent and enter into relationship with you God. Reveal yourself through dreams and visions to this nation that households and communities throughout Cyprus will claim allegiance to Jesus Christ. 

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Cyprus. We pray for an angelic presence over the docks of this nation guiding the incoming victims towards a safe home and safe community. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for healing and restoration over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. 

-Father, we pray over the internally displaced individuals and families in Cyprus and ask for you to meet them where they are at. We pray for the provision of food, shelter, clean water, education, and healthy community. 

-God, we pray over the borders and docks of this nation, and pray against drug trafficking through this nation. Let the docks be off limits to these drugs and may the hearts of men repent from their sins. We pray against money laundering and ask for governmental systems to bring an end to this. Thank you God.
