Cuba

God’s church in Cuba is growing through trial. While the church has experienced greater tolerance in recent years, the Cuban government still mistreats, marginalizes, and openly oppresses Christians[1]. Cuba remains a source country for adults and children subjected to forced labor & sex-trafficking[2]. We pray for...

-God to begin waves of judgment for unrepentant hearts in the human trafficking industry in Cuba. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would continue to bring the guilty to repentance through your mercy, yet also show them that this evil will not be tolerated. Father, bring hope and freedom through Jesus to the children & adults that remain captive in this industry. Let them feel your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control.* Help them to embrace the full love that you father have for them. Break the chains & set them free Jesus! Restore their souls Holy Spirit! Help them to enter into the secret place and to meet with their incredible Father in heaven.

-Economic and religious freedom within the governmental structure. We pray for Godly leaders who fear the Lord to remain in office, and that they would bring necessary changes so that justice would be secured for the poor and that the causes of the needy are upheld.  We pray for these leaders to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God as they serve the nation of Cuba.**

-The governmental restrictions upon your churches to be broken in Jesus name. We pray that the government would support the mission of the church to make disciples of all nations and take part in your great commission.

-Those involved in immoral activities in Cuba, and we pray for repentance through the blood of Jesus. We ask that you God would pour out your spirit on these people, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.*** Help these individuals to turn from their lifestyle of sin and walk out your plans for their lives.

-The Christian community including those who are mistreated, unjustly arrested, and imprisoned. Father we pray for equality and freedom for your body in Cuba. Let your church go forth and be filled with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.* Amen.
