Côte D’Ivoire

There has been much internal conflict and political instability in Côte D’Ivoire since a military coup overthrew the government in 1999. There are currently one million people in this nation who have been internally displaced or are a stateless person (lacking documentation of citizenship)[1]. In regards to religion, there are 9.3 million Muslims and 10.6 million Christians in Côte D’Ivoire[2]. The sanitation facilities and drinking water access could use improvement. This nation is an illicit producer of cannabis, and their borders are used as a transshipment point for drugs shipped to Europe[3]. Finally, Côte D’Ivoire is a source, transit, and destination country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and commercial sexual exploitation[4]. Let’s end the stronghold of the enemy in the Côte D’Ivoire today and press forward God’s plans of reconciliation amongst His creation through Yeshua. Father, we pray for…

-We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people in Côte D’Ivoire. We pray that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.* Let every ounce of their being declare you Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of ALL Creation.

-Each Ivoirian Christian to stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions. We pray for each Ivorian Christian to pursue a relationship with you God where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind.**

-The displaced citizens and stateless persons of Côte D’Ivoire to be blessed by a covering of your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.*** Holy Spirit, lead the displaced population back to the home you desire for them, with the ultimate goal of leading them home to our eternal dwelling place in Heaven. We pray for the stateless people group to receive mercy and justice towards their legal status, and we ask that you Lord would lead these families through acquiring the necessary documentation for being identified as a citizen.

-Clean drinking water and sanitation facilities for all your Ivoirians.

-The 460,100 living with HIV/Aids. We pray for healing through your name Jesus, that this number would decrease daily, and that your glory would increase Jesus!

-That you Yeshua would shut down the human trafficking business in Côte D’Ivoire. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We ask for angelic assignments to protect every child and woman that is trafficked in Côte D’Ivoire. We pray for healing and restoration over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-The production of drugs to halt in the name of Jesus. Let the ports be honored as holy ground and may these ships carrying drugs be convicted by the Holy Spirit of your love for them. Let their docks not be used for evil anymore. Let your will reign over all creation Yahweh! Amen!
