Colombia is a restricted nation for sharing the gospel[1]. Over the last several years, a Marxist guerilla group (known as FARC) has killed more than 300 evangelical Christians and has displaced hundreds[2]. While the government has stabilized in recent years, the levels of violence, kidnapping, and assassinations remain high. Colombia supplies the world with the highest percentage of cocaine, with most of their heroin supplies destined for The United States[3]. We pray for...

-The Holy Spirit to commission your angels towards the protection of the saints and the work they are doing in Colombia. We pray that your harvest workers would stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions, & that they would help others come to repentance through the blood of Jesus!*  

-The various forms of outreach ministry in Colombia, and for you God to continually bring people to repentance and intimacy with you where they can seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.**

-All individuals involved with the Marxist guerilla group, and for Christ to be revealed to these individuals. We pray for the enemy to be defeated in each individual’s life, and for Christ to shine your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control into their lives and bring them into repentance and salvation.*** 

-Unity & support for families of martyrs and displaced families. We pray that these Christians could forgive those who have responded in violence and that they can remain in an intimate relationship with God where they can continue to seek you with all their heart, soul, and strength.** God we pray for supernatural provision for these families.

-The drug trafficking to decrease in Colombia, and for radical conversions to take place for these individuals. Father, convict the hearts of those producing coca, poppy, & cannabis. Help them to give up this profession as an act of faith in Jesus & teach them that you will provide for them Jesus. Father, we pray for repentance and salvation for everyone in this industry. Thank you Jesus.    

-The Holy Spirit to continue to move in powerful ways within all the correctional facilities in the nation. We pray that God would bring redemption to many inmates, and that these inmates would be bright lights to those around them, overflowing with the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.***
